The preliminary schedule for Landsmót at Hólar has now been published on the official event website. Visitors can view the planned competition and exhibition timetable for the event, taking place from July 5–11.

The country-pop band Klaufar is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The band will perform at Landsmót hestamanna at Hólar in Hjaltadalur on Friday, July 10, and later this autumn will mark the milestone with a special anniversary concert at Bæjarbíó in Hafnarfjörður on Friday, September 11.

For those planning to attend Landsmót and stay for several days, having a wide variety of food options is very important.

On Sunday, July 12, following Landsmót, visitors are invited to experience the rich horse-breeding traditions and cultural heritage of Skagafjörður through a series of open-house events across the region.

There has been great interest in electric hook-up camping spots at Landsmót hestamanna, with over 500 spots already sold.

There will be a true festive atmosphere at Landsmót when Stuðlabandið takes the stage on Saturday evening, July 11, making sure no one stays seated.

LH has reviewed the membership numbers of each riding club, and the results are shown in the table below, along with how many competitors each club is entitled to send in each class of the Gæðingakeppni at Landsmót, which will be held at Hólar this summer.
