Landsmót 2010 is searching for helpful volunteers for various jobs. We are looking for people with enthusiasm, people who are willing to help us make Landsmót 2010 a spectacular and memorable event.
Landsmót is one of the biggest events held in Iceland and for everything to run smoothly it requires many efficient hands.
Landsmót takes place from June 28th until July 4th in the northern region of Skagafjordur.
The old saying, many hands make light work fits well with Landsmót and we are looking forward to getting you aboard!
We offer you:
- To participate in one of the biggest events of the year 2010 in Iceland. You will be working in a fun atmosphere where it will all be about speed and sharpness
- Free of charge entrance to Landsmót
- Free of charge meals while working
- Each volunteer will get a T-shirt labeled Landsmót 2010
- If our Staffmanager thinks you have done a good job you will be able to get recommendations from us, if requested
- Volunteers can camp in a secluded, quiet area
- You have a burning enthusiasm for your work and that you will be able to enjoy yourself, while working for Landsmót
- Age: 18 years or older
- Language: Fluent English
- You must be prepared to take on various jobs, given to you by the Staffmanager.
- The minimum work is 3 x 6 hours during the event Landsmót. That means that you have to work at least 18 hours during the Landsmót week.
- You will have to attend a meeting where you will be told about the work policy of Landsmót 2010.
The first shifts will be on the 26th of June (Saturday) and the shifts will end on the 6th of July (Tuesday), two days after the last day of Landsmót.
1.Shift: 07:00-13:00
2.Shift: 13:00-19:00
3.Shift 19:00-01:00

In the beginning of 2010 we will start planning in details the volunteer program and will process all details and dates. We will keep every volunteer who registers until then posted right up to the big moment.
