The Food Hall and Bolabar will be buzzing with activity every day, offering entertainment for visitors of all ages. Families can enjoy the children's area, open daily from Tuesday through Saturday, along with a variety of fun activities for younger guests. On Friday, children can take part in a singing competition in the Food Hall, while on Saturday the beloved characters from LazyTown will make a special appearance.
Music lovers are also in for a treat. Live music will be featured at Bolabar on most evenings, with country music taking centre stage. Performers include Soffía Björg, the popular band Klaufar, and the local country group Villtu vestin together with Malen, Sóla and Sigvaldi. Hörður G. Ólafsson will provide relaxed live music in the Food Hall during the day.
Those looking to dance the night away can head to the Food Hall, where two big dance parties are scheduled. On Friday evening, Magni, Erna, Sigvaldi and the Landsmót Big Band will take the stage, while Saturday's grand finale features Stuðlabandið, promising a memorable close to the event.
Football fans won't miss a moment of the action either. FIFA World Cup matches will be shown on the big screen at Bolabar throughout the week, including the Round of 16 fixtures.
The official Opening Ceremony takes place on Thursday evening, 9 July, featuring the traditional parade ride of Icelandic horse clubs and a performance by the renowned male choir Heimir, marking the formal beginning of the main competition days.
Whether visitors come to watch Iceland's finest horses and riders, enjoy live music, cheer on their favourite football team, or spend quality time with family and friends, Lífland's entertainment programme promises to be a highlight of this year's Landsmót at Hólar.
