The special preliminary round in the B Class Gæðingakeppni has just concluded.

Leading the field after the preliminary round is Jakob Svavar Sigurðsson aboard Kór frá Skálakoti, representing the Sindri Riding Club, with a score of 9.15. In second place is Þorgeir Ólafsson riding Steinn frá Stíghúsi, representing the Fákur Riding Club, with a score of 8.96. Third place belongs to Hanna Rún Ingibergsdóttir aboard Hvarmur frá Brautarholti, representing the Geysir Riding Club, with a score of 8.86.

A minimum score of 8.60 was required to qualify for the semifinals, reserved for the top 30 riders.
