Record Number of Participants in Gæðingakeppni at Landsmót

The National Association of Icelandic Riding Clubs (LH) has reviewed the membership numbers of each riding club, and the results are presented in the table below. This also determines how many competitors each club is entitled to send to each class of the Gæðingakeppni at Landsmót, which will take place at Hólar this summer.
The number of participants in the Gæðingakeppni at Landsmót depends on the membership size of each affiliated riding club. Each club is allocated one entry per class for every started group of 125 members.
This year, the number of competitors may reach 133 riders in each class. In addition, the top six horses on the ranking lists—who did not qualify through their club’s selection events—will also be granted entry to the competition.
