Sindri frá Hjarðartúni and Hans Þór Hilmarsson are the 2026 National Icelandic Horse Championships champions, claiming victory with an outstanding overall score of 9.13.

Finishing in second place were Askur frá Holtsmúla 1 and Ásmundur Ernir Snorrason, who earned an overall score of 9.07. Third place went to Gandi frá Rauðalæk and Guðmundur Björgvinsson, with an overall score of 8.84.

With this magnificent final performance, delivered despite slightly challenging winds, the 2026 National Icelandic Horse Championships at Hólar í Hjaltadal came to a memorable close.
