The preliminary judging of the four-year-old mares has now concluded. Hrefna frá Hemlu II leads the class with an overall score of 8.41. She received 8.39 for conformation and 8.42 for riding abilities.

The preliminary round in the Children’s Class has now concluded, and it is safe to say that the youngest riders delivered outstanding performances.

Landsmót 2026 has officially begun at Hólar in Hjaltadal, and the first competitors have already entered the arena.

Due to heavy rainfall over the past few days, the fields at the campsites are very wet. For this reason, additional access routes to the electric camping areas have been opened in order to improve access for guests and reduce pressure on individual entrances.
